The Original Training: A Hot Mess
- 200+ slides of dense text
- No interactivity
- Generic stock visuals
- One-size-fits-all experience
Learners dropped off by screen 4. The training had turned into white noise.

Our 3-Point Rescue Plan

1. Built Learner Personas
We talked to field workers, mid-level managers, and volunteers. Understood their day-to-day. Identified barriers and motivators.
2. Converted Theory into Decision Paths
We turned dry theory into branching scenarios:
- What would YOU do?
- What’s the risk in this situation?
- Choose your response
Learners could see themselves in the story.
3. Designed a Modular, Visual System
No more reading walls of text. We used:
- Field photography
- Graphic illustrations
- Visual metaphors
Icons that guided attention
4. Out-Experiment the Market
They A/B test, multivariate test, launch microsites, and tweak flows at speeds the old guard can’t match.
Results That Spoke Volumes
- Completion rate jumped from 18% to 65%
- Learner feedback included terms like “fun,” “real,” and “finally relevant”
- The NGO adopted the new format across 3 continents

The Takeaway
Rescue isn’t magic. It’s method. And with Qquench, method meets meaning.
We don’t just fix learning. We make it irresistible.
