DesigningAviation ReadinessScalable Training for Cabin Crew Frontliners
Project Overview
As a sub-contracted design and development partner, we were brought on board to transform two essential aviation training programs—one focused on Code of Conduct (COC) and the other on Deicing Procedures, spanning a total of 9 modules.
With only raw storyboards in hand, our team designed and developed engaging, real-world eLearning modules from scratch using Articulate Storyline. These were tailored specifically for aviation frontline staff, helping them navigate compliance expectations, operational protocols, and in-flight service behaviour through scenario-based learning.

Objective
& Scope
The objective was to convert client-provided storyboards into fully developed, interactive, and visually aligned eLearning modules for cabin crew and aviation frontline workers.
Our scope included complete visual design, Storyline development, quality assurance, and deployment ensuring a professional and cohesive experience across both training programs.
Challenges
01
No Visual
References or Prototypes
We were given only text-based storyboards, requiring us to interpret and design from scratch and building the full visual language and user flow independently.
01
02
Aviation-Specific Scenario Accuracy
Each module required realistic depictions of operational procedures, demanding close attention to detail and alignment with real-world aviation protocols.
02
03
Multi-Module Output Within a Compressed Timeline
Delivering 9 modules across two programs within just 4–5 months required a highly organised and parallel production process.
03
Our Approach
We crafted realistic, scenario-
based aviation training.
01
Storyboard-to-Screen Execution
Starting from basic scripts, we developed complete visual narratives and user journeys, turning static content into dynamic learning modules.
02
Realistic Scenario
Mapping
Scenes and interactions were modelled after actual cabin crew situations—such as handling misconduct, ensuring safety compliance, and responding to emergencies.
03
Efficient Multi-
Module Pipeline
We structured our workflow to handle design and development in tandem, ensuring speed, consistency, and quality across all modules.
04
Context-Driven
Visuals
Icons, layouts, and characters were crafted to reflect the aviation world—building familiarity and trust with learners.
Results
Delivered
We used scenario-based storytelling and visuals to reflect real-life aviation settings.
Consistent Visual Language Across Modules
Learners could transition smoothly from one module to the next without cognitive overload.
IMPROVED USER RETENTION & ENGAGEMENT METRICS
Intuitive design and interactive features reduced drop-offs and increased student participation across all platforms.
Scenario-Based Immersion
Interactive decision points and branched storytelling deepened retention and relatability.
Client Confidence Achieved
The well-executed delivery, even without initial visuals, earned strong praise from client stakeholders.
Built for Longevity
Each module was designed for future updates and potential translation needs—ensuring long-term usability.
Key Takeaways
Why This Approach Worked
Strong Design from Minimal Inputs
Our team transformed raw scripts into a complete training system—proving that with the right expertise, minimal inputs can lead to maximum outcomes.
Modular Delivery Drives Efficiency
Breaking the project into manageable modules helped us maintain momentum and deliver on time without sacrificing depth.
Industry-Relevant Learning Elevates Engagement
Designs that closely mimic real-life aviation environments help learners connect, remember, and apply content more effectively.
Execution Timeline
The full training suite—including 9 modules for Deicing and 1 for COC—was designed, developed, and quality-checked within 4–5 months using a streamlined, parallel production process.
Impact
The final training programs equipped aviation frontline staff with the tools, mindset, and behaviour needed to handle sensitive scenarios and daily responsibilities with professionalism.
The modules struck the perfect balance between engagement, operational relevance, and scalability—delivering real-world value to both learners and stakeholders.

This project showcases our ability to craft impactful, industry-
specific training from the ground up—turning basic scripts into
immersive experiences. From cabin crew conduct to ground-level deicing,
we delivered learning that’s not just instructional,
but operationally transformational.
